To Discover Your Soul Mate

The sparkling dark red garnet gemstone is prized by the Pomba Gira because its color vibrates on the same level. Also known as the widow’s stone because it is alleged to help those who carry it find new life partners after the death of a loved one, the garnet can also help you discover your soul mate.

Take two garnet stones and anoint them with French Lily of the Valley oil. Enclose them in a red flannel mojo bag, and carry them around with you everywhere you go for three days in a row. It also helps to place a thin layer of dried violet leaves and flowers in your shoes because this plant is thought to help a person attract a mate.

Before retiring on the night of the third day, take the stones from the bag, anoint them again, and replace them in the bag. Ask the Pomba Gira to bring you a dream of your future partner. Promise her that if she grants you this boon, you will reward her by leaving her a present of seven long-stemmed roses tied with red ribbon at a “T” crossroads. Place the bag under your pillow and go to sleep.

Over the next three nights you should receive a vision of your soul mate in a dream. When you do, be sure to write down all the details so you don’t forget anything. If within three nights a dream is not forthcoming, remove the bag of garnets from under your pillow. Keep carrying them for another 21 days, then repeat the spell again
